The Clambake Menu
A COOKING TENT:  If the weather is predicted to be inclement, we will need either a 20x20 foot cooking tent with side panels or some place under cover to prepare food. This is needed whether you plan an indoor function or one outside.  Your food and service items MUST be protected from wind, rain, etc.  If your budget is tight, you can RESERVE the tent instead of ordering it.  That way if the weather is sunny and calm, you can cancel the reservation and reduce the cost.
A TENT FOR YOUR GUESTS:  As with almost all island resorts, Martha's Vineyard weather can be unpredictable.  If you are planning an outdoor event, then consider RENTING A TENT of the appropriate size to protect your guests from inclement weather.  They also appreciate an open-sided tent out of the sun in good weather.  Size the tent to comfortably accommodate your guests.
IF YOU RENT GLASS OR CHINA PLATES, METAL CUTLERY AND GLASSWARE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR A FORMAL PARTY
WHAT WE PROVIDE
For the Chowder Service (appetizer)
We provide paper chowder mugs, plastic soup spoons, napkins, oyster crackers, salt and pepper and lots of our award-winning New England Clam Chowder!
For the Buffet:
We provide heavy-duty Chinet platters (a heavy paper platter that will not fold or bend when full of food), napkins, wet wipes and bibs.  We also provide heavy-duty plastic Forks and Knives,
Shell Buckets and Lobster Crackers
We provide lobster crackers and buckets for shells at each seating arrangement.
Dessert Service: 
We provide Chinet dessert plates, napkins and heavy duty forks for the traditional watermelon dessert. 

If you are planning another dessert, let us know and we will provide you with extra dessert plates and cutlery at no charge. 


WHAT YOU MUST PROVIDE
ALTERNATE PLANS FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER :
You are responsible for arranging alternate plans, if necessary, in the event of bad weather since we cannot accommodate 'rain dates'.

Your food must be protected from inclement weather during both preparation and serving.  If there is rain, strong wind or other forms of inclement weather, we are required to cook under cover.  If you do not have a protected area for cooking and serving, you must provide a cook tent for our use.  We reserve the right to order a cook tent, if needed, and charge it to your account.
BEVERAGES AND BARTENDERS:
You should arrange to provide any alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. We will be happy to recommend a bartending service for your event.

We CAN provide coffee, lemonade and/or iced tea as an optional item to our Clambake menu if you request it.
Music; Dance Floor; Lighting, etc.
